Build and test your integration without sending or spending anything.
Test keys
Messages sent with a test key (sndd_test_...) never reach a provider and are never charged: they carry test: true and price.charged: false.
Scripted outcomes
A test message completes at once, with an outcome chosen by the recipient's last digit:
- ends in 1 or 2:
failed; - ends in 8:
undelivered; - anything else:
delivered.
Test webhooks
Every webhook endpoint has a mode. A test endpoint receives events from test traffic only, and a live endpoint from live traffic only. Use the endpoint's test event to check that your receiver verifies signatures.
What test keys cannot do
Test keys cannot create or change campaigns (403 test_mode_not_allowed). Test and live traffic are rate-limited separately.
